No, equipment is completely optional! All of Raven’s workouts are designed to be effective whether you choose to use equipment or not. However, if you’re ready to take your workouts to the next level and add some variety, consider incorporating any of the following:
- Heavy Weights: 8-10 lbs or more
- Light Weights: 1-5 lbs
- Resistance Band: also called a booty band or small mini loop resistance band
- Gliders: Perfect for sliding movements (or use paper plates or washcloths as a budget-friendly alternative depending on your floors)
- Small Pilates Ball: Ideal for core work and adding balance challenges. About 9 inches in diameter
- Magic circle: also called a Pilates ring! My personal fav.
Each piece of equipment can enhance your workout experience, but you’ll still feel the burn and see results even without them!
